Reel Nature: Free Kids Filmmaking Workshop (Ages 7-14)

Kids ages 7-14 make their own short nature film at Lowdermilk Park. Free, hands-on, and led by local filmmakers and educators.
About this Event

Calling all young storytellers! Reel Nature is a free, hands-on filmmaking workshop for kids ages 7 to 14.

We meet outside at Lowdermilk Park in Naples. Kids learn how to plan a story, film it, and share it. They work in small teams and make their own short film inspired by nature and peace.

Our team includes local educators, artists, and filmmakers. The lessons are built on the Spin the Wheel for Peace curriculum by Angela Terga, adapted for film. Kids will explore ideas like kindness, respect, and connection, then bring them to life on camera.

No experience needed. Just bring curiosity and a big imagination.

The workshop is free. Optional donations go to CAMP (Conscious Arts Media Productions), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and are tax-deductible.

Spots are limited, so please register each child who will attend.
