Reduction Printing with Katie Nack

In this reduction printmaking class, students will learn how to create a 6-7 layer linocut print using a single block. Working from a pre-designed cherry image, you’ll explore the step-by-step process of carving, inking, and printing successive layers to build depth and color. This class focuses on understanding the reduction method, careful planning, and registration techniques, resulting in 4-7 finished editions of cherry-themed prints.
No prior printmaking experience is required.
All materials are provided but we encourage you bring any printmaking supplies stared below!
