Join us on June 18 at Mitby Theater on the campus of Madison Area Technical College for an evening with Tim Mackie, co-founder of BibleProject, as he shares the story behind the project and the core biblical convictions that shape its work.
In this lecture, Tim will explore how the Bible is not simply a collection of ideas to be learned, but an invitation into a journey of character formation—one that leads to wisdom and a deeper way of living.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE MITBY THEATER:
1. Doors open at 6 p.m.
2. Parking is free and available directly west of the building. Accessible parking spots are located in the lots nearest to the main doors and the Truax Gateway entrance.
3. When you arrive at the Mitby Auditorium, you will be asked to show proof of registration. Please have everyone in your party enter with you. This will help us immensely

Tim Mackie is co-founder and lead scholar of BibleProject. He holds a PhD in Hebrew Bible and Jewish Studies from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a degree in theology from Western Seminary in Portland. His research has focused on the manuscript history of the Bible and the formation of the biblical canon, including his dissertation on the book of Ezekiel, with particular attention to the Septuagint and Dead Sea Scrolls. After years of ministry as a local church pastor and professor at Western Seminary, Tim now serves as lead scholar and creative director at BibleProject. He lives in Portland with his wife, Jessica, and their two sons.
