Featuring the venerable Hattiesburg Concert Band and celebrating America’s 250th birthday, enjoy works that celebrate America and the rich history of the American community bands while enjoying a specially curated selection of beers. Made up of local, volunteer musicians of varying ages and walks of life, The Hattiesburg Concert Band by the late Joe Barry Mullins, beloved Professor Emeritus at The University of Southern Mississippi. Generations of musicians have been a part of the legacy they continue to share with the Hattiesburg community.
Just announced! The Southern Miss Faculty Brass Quintet will the program and the four Southern Miss Band conductors, Drs. Catherine Rand, Travis Higa, Cody Edgerton, and Colin McKenzie, as guest conductors. Dr. Nick Ciraldo, USM guitar professor, also joins the catalog of American music, highlighting pop and rock.
