American Art Reimagined (FestivalSouth / FestivalArt)

This exciting exhibition, presented as part of the Festival South FestivalART program, challenges artists to honor and subvert classic American masterpieces. Submissions will feature original works where the artist selects an existing piece by a recognized American artist—from any period or medium—and completely reimagines it through their own unique style, perspective, or choice of medium. This is not a call for reproductions, but for creative transformation, resulting in a vibrant collection of dialogue between history and contemporary art.
