Learn how to make Red Onion Jam & Tangy PickIed Mushrooms!
This class will give you a step-by-step guide to canning and food preservation. You will learn the principles of canning and learn proper food safety. Canning classes could be a fun event for you and your family or just having fun with friends.
Did you know that under the cottage food exemption, you can make jams and jellies at your home and sell to the community? Under the Florida Cottage Food Exemption you can earn up to $250,000 in gross sales by making approved products in your home.
No need to bring anything. Aprons will be provided. Just bring yourself. So sign up today and learn about canning and food preservation. You will be trained on proper food handling procedures.
Closed-toe shoes are required. If your hair is shoulder length or longer, it must be pulled back (hair must be secured firmly so no touching is needed.) Please avoid wearing loose-fitting blouses or shirts that may get caught on the equipment. If you have flu-like symptoms, please reschedule.
