“Red Brick Blue Tarp” Film Screening

“Red Brick Blue Tarp”, a documentary short by St. Louis filmmaker Cami Cruz Thomas, deploys visual poetry and firsthand interviews to explore people’s experiences and the aftermath of the May 16, 2025 EF-3 tornado, which tore through parts of St. Louis and wrought a path of destruction in the north part of the city.
Following a free, all-ages screening of the 32-minute documentary in the Public Media Commons, “St. Louis on the Air” host and producer Elaine Cha will moderate a 45-minute chat and Q&A with Thomas.
Check-in opens at 6:30. Screening begins at 7:30.
