We are grateful to be hosting the lecture: Recovering from Purity Culture with Dr. Camden Morgante as part of the All Souls Church 2025 lecture series.
During her time with us she will be speaking on content addressed in her book, 'Recovering from Purity Culture.' This work draws on historical and psychological research, her own personal experience, and therapy case studies. Dr. Camden Morgante tackles what comes next in reclaiming our sexuality from the harmful teachings so many evangelical Christians grew up believing.

Dr. Camden Morgante is a licensed psychologist with nearly 15 years of experience as a therapist and college professor. She owns a private therapy practice focusing on women’s issues, relationships, sexuality, trauma, and spirituality, and is a frequent speaker. Dr. Camden’s mission is to help Christians heal their faith from toxic beliefs. She is the author of Recovering from Purity Culture.
