About this Event

Reconnecting with Nature: An Introduction to Forest Therapy

This is an online and in-person conversation. Futurewatch Sustainability Academy series in partnership with Veena P. Sivan a Certified Forest Therapy Guide (ANFT), STEM educator, and founder of Kinwood Echoes, brings a refreshing hybrid event where you’ll dive into the calming world of forest therapy.

This introductory session explores Forest Therapy (also known as Shinrin-yoku or forest bathing), a gentle practice that invites us to slow down, engage our senses, and reconnect with the natural world.

Participants will learn how mindful time in nature can support well-being, deepen environmental awareness, and foster a greater sense of relationship with the ecosystems around us.
