October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! WonderWorks is thrilled to partner with Caring In Our Lifetime to host a variety of exciting offerings in the coming weeks to spread awareness about breast cancer research, prevention, and treatment. Don't miss your opportunity to participate in fun events, all while benefiting a fantastic cause!
🎗️ Calendar of Events 🎗️
• Oct 1st - 6th : Climb for a Cure
We're kicking things off with a fundraising campaign at our ropes courses benefiting Caring In Our Lifetime. From Oct 1-6, guests are encouraged to make a donation of up to $5 at the ropes course, then make the climb for a cure. Those that donate will receive a breast cancer ribbon and a WonderWorks sticker!
• Oct 7th - 13th : HOPE Wall
Participate in a community art project. Guests can color on our HOPE Wall and share their breast cancer stories. Snap a pic and post it on social media using #wonderfulhope.
• Oct 14th - 20th : Card-Making
Join us for a pop-up activity in our lobby to make cards for those who have been touched by breast cancer, such as current patients, survivors, and healthcare workers. Come get creative and give back!
• Oct 21st - 31st : Survivor Ticket Giveaway
Keep an eye on the WonderWorks Facebook page for a special ticket giveaway at the end of the month. Locals will be able to nominate a deserving breast cancer survivor to win a family pack of tickets!
NEW "Think Pink" t-shirts are for sale in the gift shop this month. A portion of the proceeds will go to Caring In Our Lifetime. Take some of the WONDER home with you for a great cause!
