About this Event
Are you a member of the public who has supported research projects at UCL? Do you want recognition for your contributions?
We invite you to attend a workshop on 23rd March 2026 from 2-4pm to:
- Learn about the UCL Citizen Science Academy
- Share the different ways you (community members) support research projects
- Discuss suitable acknowledgement and recognition for your contributions, to help sustain and expand these collaborations.
You will be compensated for your time with a £50 gift voucher (either via email or as a printed copy) . The voucher can be redeemed at multiple retailers online or in person, depending on the selected retailer and their terms and conditions.
*Please note that you must register for this workshop to attend, and it is only open to community members who have previously supported research projects at UCL (not as research participants) — please contact Natalie if you are unsure: [email protected]
This workshop is part of the Research Culture-funded “Community Connectedness Project” to develop subject-specific accreditation that will recognise specific skills that community member 'citizen scientists' acquire, and contributions they make, whilst working on research projects. It is run in collaboration with the UCL Centre for Equality Research in Brain Sciences, UCL Office for Open Science & Scholarship and the UCL Citizen Science Academy.
