Join us for the Reclaiming Breech Birth Workshop at ACU Banyo campus for student midwives ONLY! This in-person event will be held at the Australian Catholic University in Banyo, in room 212.G.22AB (parking available on site, please arrive by 8:50am). A student code is available for all ACU enrolled midwifery students and proof of enrollment is required at check in on the day. Please contact Sasha for the code ([email protected]).
The Reclaiming Breech Birth Workshop is an Australian College of Midwives CPD Endorsed activity offering 6 CPD points. This workshop is specifically designed for midwives but is suitable for doctors, paramedics and students interested in learning more about breech birth. The workshop will cover antenatal education, intrapartum and postnatal care, understanding physiological breech and identifying deviations, understanding research, ACM Consultation & Referral Guidelines and the Midwifery Code of Conduct, documentation, simulation practice and reviewing of breech birth videos. Don't miss this opportunity to deepen your understanding on breech birth. Morning and afternoon tea is included as well as a 'Breech Consumer Handout' to give to expectant parents and a 'Breech Manoeuvre Guide' to add to your birth kit or birth suite rooms! See you there!
