What is a Homemakers Swap?
A Homemakers Swap is a fun and welcoming gathering where everyone brings 5 identical handmade, homegrown, baked or created items to exchange with other makers.
Bring things like:
🍓 Homemade jams, pickles or cordial
🕯️ Hand-poured candles
🧼 Soaps and bath products
🍪 Freshly baked treats
🌿 Homegrown herbs or produce
🧵 Sewn, knitted or crocheted creations
🎨 Handmade crafts and more!
We'll gather together, share what we've brought, swap our creations, and you'll head home with 5 unique handmade items made by fellow homemakers.
✨ A few simple guidelines:
• Bring 5 identical items
• Items must be handmade, homegrown, baked or created by you
• No store-bought or pre-loved items
• Packaging and ingredient labels are encouraged for food and body products
Whether you're an experienced maker or just love creating at home, everyone is welcome. It's a wonderful way to connect with like-minded people, discover new skills, and support our local creative community.
