RECLAIM: Rebuilding What’s Next
February 10–11, 2027
Beachside Church | Fort Walton Beach, Florida
For four years, Emerald Coast Victim Services has created space for professionals and community partners to come together around violence, trauma, recovery, health, advocacy, and the systems people depend on when life changes.
In 2027, we are asking a bigger question:
What do we build next?
Not just in our organizations or our systems.
In our bodies.
In our relationships.
In our work.
In our communities.
In the way we lead, care, connect, recover, and move forward.
RECLAIM: Rebuilding What’s Next is a two-day interdisciplinary conference for the people doing this work, living alongside it, and helping shape what comes next.
Healthcare professionals, advocates, mental health professionals, law enforcement, prosecutors, educators, nonprofit leaders, students, business owners, community partners, and others will come together for conversations that move beyond awareness and into what rebuilding can actually look like.
The agenda will explore the places where change becomes personal, professional, and practical.
Attendees can expect:
• Main-stage education and interdisciplinary conversations
• Smaller breakout sessions for deeper learning and discussion
• Practical tools and perspectives that can be carried back into real-world work
• Conversations around health, relationships, resilience, leadership, professional growth, and stronger community systems
• Restorative sound experiences woven into both conference days ( deeply valued and enjoyed every year).
• Time to connect, collaborate, and build relationships across disciplines
• A dedicated **Woven Resilience™ Marketplace**, featuring women-owned businesses, community organizations, resources, and partners from across our region
RECLAIM is not about pretending everything needs to be rebuilt from scratch.
It is about looking honestly at what is working, what is not, what we have outgrown, and what deserves to come with us.
It is about reclaiming the parts of ourselves, our professions, our relationships, and our communities that still matter.
And it is about creating room for something different where something different is needed.
We want people to leave with more than notes from a conference.
We want new ideas.
New relationships.
New language.
New tools.
New possibilities.
We want people who rarely sit at the same table to finally be in the same room.
And we want to create space for the parts of rebuilding that often get left out of professional conferences altogether.
RECLAIM isn’t only about fixing what is broken. It’s about deciding what deserves to come with us, what we’re ready to leave behind, and what we have the courage to build in its place.
That is the heart of the year’s conference.
Not simply what comes next.
What we choose to make possible next.
