ReCITE Learning Event (Liverpool)
We warmly invite you to ReCITE’s dynamic and interactive “Liverpool Festival of Learning” where Community Innovation Teams (CITs) consisting of community stakeholders, health providers, creatives, PCNs and public health are given centre stage. They will share their innovative work and learning in implementing a hyper-local community-led, creative health approach to tackle avoidable and unfair differences within the borough. Seven CITs will be showcasing their work:
1. North Liverpool Lives, led by Rotunda
2. Protect your baby from whooping cough, led by The Liverpool Lighthouse
3. Lungevity, led by Anfield and Everton PCN
4. Innov8, led by The Tiber Youth
5. High Intensity Users, led by Aintree Emergency Department
6. Seize Control, led by The Walton Centre
7. Antimicrobial Resistance, led by PC24
The ReCITE Liverpool Learning Event also provides a unique opportunity for reflection, dialogue and advocacy. A panel discussion will reflect on legacy and explore how this approach could contribute to delivery of the NHS 10-year plan through shifting to a neighbourhood-led model of healthcare with a community-led focus.

Aim
To celebrate and share the ReCITE community-led, creative health model and explore how this approach could contribute to delivering the NHS Neighbourhood plan.
Objectives
1. To showcase how community innovation teams (CITs) in Liverpool are tackling avoidable and unfair differences in health through hyper-local creative health interventions
2. To share learning, celebrate CIT success and recognise innovative practice
3. To explore opportunities to integrate the CIT model into the NHS Neighbourhood approach
is a public health research project that helps communities in Liverpool, Knowsley and Sefton bring about change and fix unfair differences in health. The overall ReCITE programme is led by the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (Feb 2024- Jan 2027).
