About this Event

Ulster University, the Campaign for Social Science and the ARINS Project (a joint initiative of the University of Notre Dame and the Royal Irish Academy) present a one-day event, as part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science week.

Covering the key policy areas of education, health, law and criminal justice and public realm/environment and infrastructure, the conference will consider how best to bring about meaningful, lasting and positive change.

With a keynote address by Professor Matt Flinders (University of Sheffield) and a range of speakers from across academia and the public sector, this conference will provoke wide-ranging discussions between leading experts.

These collaborative discussions will enable the identification of creative, practical and positive steps for improving the public sector in Northern Ireland in the interests of the wider community.
