Join Us at the NI PEAR CONFERENCE!
Calling all HCPs, trainees & students working with children & young people across NI.
We're excited to invite you to the 2nd Northern Ireland Paediatric Education, Audit & Research network (NI PEAR) Conference – SHAPING TOMORROW’S CHILD HEALTH on Friday 23rd October 2026, hosted at Belfast Castle.
This full-day event will feature keynote speakers from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH), Queen Mary University London and former President of the Irish Medical Organisation.
With a focus on "Shaping Tomorrow's Child Health", this event will provide valuable opportunities to network with experts and learn about the future threats to child health, including sessions covering topical issues such as screen time and air pollution.
Conference attendees will have the opportunity to participate in interactive workshops on offer, with a focus on careers led by the NIMDTA School of Paediatrics.

Building on the success of previous years, we're also showcasing the 4th annual NI PEAR Clinical Cases Competition. This is a fantastic opportunity to share learning from challenging and interesting clinical cases, offering the opportunity for a regional conference presentation and prize for the winning presentation. Please find the application form attached, and submit abstracts to [email protected] by Tuesday 22nd September.
