Delivering Better Care Through Education - Dr Aghogho Okpara

Dr. Aghogho Okpara is a medical intern and the founder of Achieve with Aghogho (AWA), an educational equity organisation helping students unlock their potential by fostering self-belief and creating access to opportunity. The members-based organisation has supported over 5,000 young people across more than 45 countries through workshops, programmes, and career resources.

In 2026, Aghogho was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list in the Social Impact category for this work. She is also a professional speaker, and digital creator with an audience of over 400,000 people. Aghogho has spoken for organisations including Apple, OpenAI, Zoom, and multiple Russell Group universities. She has been featured on BBC International News for the change she is driving in education, and regularly collaborates with the Nobel Prize. She was nominated as a Voice for Change at the 2025 TikTok Awards and has also been recognised by the Irish Times & RTE News.
