Jazz Jurassica presents: a brand new jazz series inside Colfox Academy School, Bridport — built around a Steinway grand piano with a story worth telling. First on stage: pianist Rebecca Nash and vocalist Sara Colman, two players, one long friendship, and a sound that's hard to pin down — jazz at its core, but happily straying into folk, classical and singer-songwriter territory along the way.

Rebecca Nash is a pianist, composer and educator with deep ties to the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, where she helps train the next wave of jazz musicians.
Sara Colman is a vocalist and composer, and the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire's first ever Recording Artist in Residence. Colman's voice carries the story in every song — direct, warm and completely unshowy.
Colfox has a fabulous auditorium, free parking and a pay bar on the night. Proceeds will support school funds.
