Reads Creek Invasive Plant Removal

Join us for another invasive plant removal this December 13th from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. at Reads Creek. Come and learn about the importance of removing invasive plants such as Kudzu, Privet, Japanese Honeysuckle, Bittersweet, and English Ivy.

Removing invasive species is essential to restoring native habitats and preparing our creeks for streambank repair workshops. Waterways will have gloves and tools available, but feel free to bring your own gear! Gear such as loopers, gloves, handsaws, eye protection, closed-toed shoes, sunscreen, a water bottle, and a hat are suggested.
