Reading Property Meet: Final 2 Events of 2026
About this Event
Two events focused on finding better opportunities and running property more efficiently
A property business can have two very different problems.
You may be ready to buy, but keep seeing the same properties as everyone else.
Or you may already have plenty happening, but find that research, emails, admin and day to day management are taking up more and more of your time.
The final two Reading Property Meet events of 2026 look at both.
In October, Dave Hartnett will look at finding and structuring off-market deals.
In November, Adam Lawrence will look at where AI can genuinely save time when buying, selling and managing property.
29th October - Dave Hartnett: Finding Hidden Gold
If your property search starts and ends with Rightmove, Zoopla and what local agents send you, you are often looking at the same opportunities as everybody else.
That can mean more competition, less room to negotiate and a lot of time spent looking at properties that simply do not stack up.
Dave Hartnett will explain how he approaches off-market property and builds a pipeline of potential opportunities before they reach the wider market.
Finding the owner is only the start. You still need to decide whether the numbers work, what you are prepared to pay, how the deal could be structured and how it will be funded.
The evening will also cover joint ventures and creative finance, giving you a wider view of how deals can come together when buying through the usual route is not the only option.
If you want more ways to find your next property than waiting for another listing to appear online, this is the session for you.
29th November - Adam Lawrence: The AI Advantage
AI is everywhere at the moment.
That does not mean every property investor needs another subscription, another app or another tool to learn.
What matters is whether it saves you time or helps you do something better.
Adam Lawrence will look at where AI can help with the work property investors are already doing, from researching opportunities and working through information to communication, admin and property management.
The point is not to use AI for the sake of it.
It is to understand where it can genuinely save time and where your own judgement still matters.
If you keep hearing about AI but are still wondering how it applies to the reality of running a property business, November will help answer that question.
Why come to both?
October is about finding more opportunities.
November is about handling some of the work around those opportunities more efficiently.
Finding another deal is only useful if you have the time to assess it properly, and saving time matters more when you have worthwhile opportunities to spend it on.
Coming to both events also gives you two evenings to meet investors, developers, landlords, brokers and other property professionals at Reading Property Meet, ask questions and continue conversations beyond a single event.
