Reading Between the Wines

Come and spend an evening at Exeter Library pairing affordable wines with some of our favourite works of fiction. This one is brought to you by Exeter Library staff, who are enthusiastic readers with a fondness for a decent bottle, but are definitely not wine experts.
Across the evening, we'll match supermarket wines with eclectic and brilliant literature. Think The Grapes of Wrath meets Snoop Dogg's Cali range, or The Silence of the Lambs with a nice Chianti... The actual titles and wines stay secret until the night.
Each guest receives four small glasses of wine (125ml each), and there's the option to buy additional drinks throughout. Feel free to bring your own food. The evening runs for around 60 minutes.
This is a celebration of books, first and foremost. It's a great night for book lovers and wine lovers, but fair warning: it's probably not the event for connoisseurs who take their Bordeaux very seriously.
Tickets are £12 for Library members and £15 for non-members.
