Read The Room

Following the Reading Exhibit presented during DesignTO Festival, we’re bringing the experience back for an intimate evening of shared reading, conversation, and tea. Read The Room is a collective reading gathering where literature becomes a social space — a moment to slow down, listen, and reflect together.

Hosted at ItsOK Studios, this evening continues Book Club Toronto’s exploration of reading as a third space — somewhere between home and work where ideas, stories, and community meet.

For this edition we are joined by special guests:

Sam Sabzaveri — sharing selections of Iranian poetry alongside his own original writing.
Jad from Rooms Coffee — serving tea and drinks to accompany the evening.

Together we’ll read, listen, and sit with words in community.
