Limited to 4 spaces, this course is specifically designed for dogs that are reactive to other dogs/& dogs with people. This includes dogs that just get over-excited meeting or are fearful/aggressive towards other dogs.
We appreciate the difficulties owning a dog with reactivity and aggression issues can bring - anxiety and stress you feel when your dog(s) offer unwanted behaviours in public can be overwhelming!
However, sometimes we need to take a moment to consider how your dog(s) feel at this time. These outbursts of barking, lunging or aggression originate from somewhere and don’t just happen for no reason; and we are here to help you and your dog understand why & how we can help your dog cope better. Using scientifically proven, force-free training methods we will help you and your dog to cope with the stresses and frustrations it experiences when around other dogs.
The first class will be held at the training centre with no dogs present to allow us to chat through what we will be doing & find out more about your dog. The other classes will be held outdoors in West Lothian.
Dogs may not be working all at the same time, so they need to be comfortable to be left in vehicles at times (if need be with you present in the vehicle)
The intention of the course is for participants to get practical experience with stooge dogs and maybe one another.
N.B. Cost has taken into consideration the use of Freedom Fields and cost of stooge time.
Dates
Class 1 - Wednesday 25 September @ 6.15pm - 7.45pm (No dogs & held @ training centre)
Class 2 - Saturday 28 September @ 10am-11am
Class 3 - Saturday 12 October @ 10am-11am
Class 4 - Saturday 19 October @ 10am-11am
If a date is not suitable for a participant - there may be the ability to change the Saturday, if all participants are agreeable.
