It's easy to get disappointed with a bad year in the markets, but even when things are going well it often feels like things just aren't moving fast enough to get you where you want to go money-wise. No one invests to lose money, and if asked most people would say that what they expect out of their investments is the best return possible, but what kind of return on investment is actually good? More to the point: how much money do you need in order to do what you want to do, and are you doing the right thing to get there?
Unfortunately many people are in a difficult position when trying to answer such questions, because they are investing money without a clear goal. Without a goal or objective, how does one determine if they're on the right track or doing enough? Most financial institutions' answer of "don't worry, the markets go up and down all the time and you're in it for the long term," while technically true, is not very satisfying. Thus, you find yourself asking: how long is "the long term", and whether you should be doing something about this, but without an answer it's often easier to ignore the question... which is never a good sign in managing one's finances! In this course you'll learn how to set financial goals and how to measure your progress towards them, to see if what you're doing makes sense, to either set your mind at ease or start adjusting your plan now to make sure you don't end up missing your target!

We share the same driveway as the Desjardins building and are next to Globo. The doors open at 6:30pm, with coffee and hot chocolate served for those who arrive at that time. Someone will stay downstairs to let people in until 7:10pm, after which time the doors are locked.
