The course will run every Tuesday from the 24th of September for 12 weeks, from 12:30-2:30, during this time there will be general skills classes (maths, English IT, wellbeing) followed by work on either a design project or a baking project. You have the option of either:
1. Design Project, designing your own item of clothing (e.g. t-shirt) with a logo, packaging and in the style of your choice. This will include a certificate in a design/IT course.
2. Baking Project, perfecting a brownie recipe with packaging. This will include a food hygiene certificate.
Everyone will have good quality physical items to show at the end, and the opportunity to possibly sell them on a stall. Through the projects you will learn and practice the skills you need, have fun and meet new people. Receiving a certificate at the end of the course.
There is 30 minutes 1-1 mentoring occurring outside of this time (whenever is convenient for you throughout the week). This will help you reach your potential.
