Kirklees FREE Adult cycle training: First time riders & Traffic-free riding

The cycle training programme aims to enable more people to travel by bike. It is delivered as part of the West Yorkshire Combined Authority’s cycling and walking programme, @CityConnect1 @cyclecityconnect in partnership with local authorities and local delivery partners, including Colne Valley Cycle Therapy CIC, in Huddersfield.

Sessions are available to all adults aged 16+. You can choose to use your own bike, or one will be provided for you.

Our Sunday sessions are run by two qualified instructors and are suitable for:

First time riders – Learn how to ride for the first time. These sessions are held away from roads, in places like car parks and traffic-free routes.

Traffic free riding – Improve your riding confidence in a safe environment. These sessions are held away from roads, in places like car parks and traffic-free routes.

All we ask if that if you can't attend a session, please come back to Eventbrite and cancel your place. We always have a waiting list of people wanting to attend. Our funding depends on people turning up, so without you, we won't be able to continue.
