We are honored to be able to provide a grant funded retreat experience for our Delaware Healthcare Professionals. Trauma Specialists of Delaware is offering an trauma informed experiential retreat Please sign up to renew your joy, passion and belief in yourself. We hope you consider taking a day out for YOU.

The Federal American Rescue Plan (ARPA) supports many efforts including increasing trauma responsiveness, trauma education and trauma awareness in the state of Delaware. Although this event is grant funded we are asking for a 10 dollar donation to the local nonprofit, "I Support The Girls- Delaware".
Why come to our retreat:
Working in the healthcare field is meaningful, rewarding and HARD! We know compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma impacts healthcare professionals everyday, often depleting life enjoyment, job satisfaction, and confidence in ourselves or our own resilience.

We know taking time is the biggest task, this is one day unlike the time commitment of therapy. Are you nervous about being vulnerable? We welcome authentic expression, however, we will not be asking you to dive deep into hard memories. This is not meant to be therapy, we want the retreat to be an relaxing experience.

What we expect from you:
Part of being trauma-informed is avoiding surprises when we are able. Before signing up please consider a few pieces.
This is a day for you, to focus on you. Please make arrangements so you will not need a smart phone on this day. You can provide loved ones with our phone number in case of an emergency.

9:40-10:30am Welcome and Gentle Somatic Exercise Session

10:30-10:45am Break

10:45-11:30am Interactive Awareness Exercise with featuring Rosemary from Courageous Hearts

11:40-12:25pm Lunch provided by Camp Arrowhead

12:30-1:30pm Trauma-Informed Discussion with Maris from Trauma Specialists

1:30- 2:10 Revisit with Rosemary

2:10-2:20pm Break 2:30-3:40pm Body Awareness Exercise with Molly from Courageous Hearts

4:00pm Retreat Farewell with Katie Honeywell of TSDE
