RE:MAKE Reusable fabric wreaths

Join us for a festive workshop making your own reusable wreath from scrap fabrics. This one was popular last year so grab your tickets quick!

These reusable wreaths can be used year after year as they are or added to and changed over time. Perfect for beginners and experienced crafters alike these workshop kick off our festive season 2024.

Volunteer Celia will be hosting this session, she is a costume designer and experienced knitwear designer and repairer!

This workshop is suitable for adults and children. We advise that if bringing a child younger than 12 they will need adult help during the workshop as tying the fabric can be tricky for smaller hands.
Any children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times at RE:MAKE as per our standard policies.

RE:MAKE Newport is the first repair and reuse hub on a High Street in Wales bringing free repairs and low cost borrows to the community in Newport. Our workshop schedules reflect our commitment to helping people find tangible ways to be more eco in their everyday lives as well as having some festive fun along the way!

Things to note:

• Workshops are facilitated and supported by our wonderful team of volunteers and our house rules apply, please be respectful throughout.
• Varying age restrictions apply to our workshops, please see description for information.
• All attendees under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
• Tools required for each session are made available for use at your own risk, please ask for assistance/alternatives if you do not feel confident using them.
• Ticket price includes tea, coffee and biscuits.
