Are you ready to add flair and creativity to your dance repertoire? Join us for this workshop where you'll learn to incorporate blocks into your moves, enhancing rhythm, flow, and dramatic effect.
What is a block? Where one partner initiates a redirection during a move and can be done across various connection points, such as the hands, hips, and shoulders. From an audience perspective, a block is an unexpected 'surprise' move and can add creativity to your dancing!
What You'll Learn:
A variety of moves where follows are blocked and redirected, creating eye-catching moves that captivate any audience
Techniques for introducing and using different connection points.
How to execute blocks with precision and clear communication with your partner.
Powerful styling opportunities to incorporate into your dancing
Suitable for intermediate dancers and above. Moves will begin at intermediate level and progress throughout the workshop.
