About this Event

Join colleagues from across the Northwest for our next RCSLT Northwest Hub Regional event, bringing together colleagues from across speech and language therapy from a wide range of services and settings to explore the theme of change, changing roles, and changing service configurations.

The day will include the North West Hub AGM, updates from the RCSLT, networking opportunities, and facilitated local discussions. Together, we'll consider the impact of integrated neighbourhood team working, changes within Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), and what these developments mean for our practice.

For the AGM, members will have the opportunity to shape the future of the Hub through the election of key committee roles, including Chair, Treasurer and Secretary. We are seeking committee members who can represent the breadth and diversity of speech and language therapy practice across the region.

Hear from a panel of SLTs and clinical researchers sharing their diverse career journeys, how they have navigated change, and the opportunities that have supported their professional growth. There will also be dedicated time to reflect on your own career pathway and consider your next steps.

Whether you are newly qualified, experienced, working clinically, in leadership, education or research, this promises to be an inspiring day of learning, connection and professional development.

Refreshments will be provided throughout the day. Lunch will not be provided but there are shops locally.
