We are pleased to invite you to the final exhibition of this year’s RCA x SNAP SPECS programme, a year-long collaboration exploring augmented reality (AR), emerging technologies, and their social, cultural, ecological and creative implications.
Join us for live AR demonstrations using Snap Specs, interactive presentations developed by this year’s participants.

The exhibition will open to the public on Saturday, with further presentations, live demonstrations and workshops led by this year’s participants.

Led by Jack Hardiker-Bresson and the Digital Direction MA at the Royal College of Art, alongside the team at Snap Inc., the RCA x Snap Specs programme brings together a diverse and multidisciplinary group of students from 20 different programmes across the RCA.
Working with Snap’s Specs, under the guidance of Jack Hardiker-Bresson, Tom Simmons, Shira Wachsmann and Shahwali Shayan, and alongside a series of industry and academic guests, students have explored new approaches to AR through co-creation, critical research, experimentation and making.
The programme offers an opportunity to explore how emerging technologies can become spaces for creative experimentation and critical inquiry, and how AR might shape the ways we see, experience and interact with the world around us.
