Random Café's Beer Tasting and Meet the Brewer Evening
About this Event
Random Café are delighted to be hosting a Beer Tasting and Meet the Brewers event on Saturday 12th September 2026, where you will have the chance to taste a varied range of 6 great beers from Vale Brewery, and also meet the brewers themselves.
Random Café is a not for profit café, educating consumers about how to be both sustainable and budget-conscious by saving food from landfill.
Our mission is simple – to feed bellies, not bins!! We do this by working with local supermarkets, businesses, shops, food producers and farms – intercepting food that would otherwise be thrown away, reducing needless landfill and feeding hungry bellies with delicious food instead. We have so far saved over 135.7 tonnes of surplus food from going to waste and landfills since we began operations in 2017.
Established in 1995, Vale Brewery is an independent craft and cask-ale microbrewery located at the Tramway Business Park in Brill, Aylesbury Vale, Buckinghamshire. Known for balancing traditional ale styles with modern hop-forward flavors, they produce core, seasonal, and small-batch experimental beers.
We will be holding this fund raising event at a new venue this year – the Colne River Room at the Pump House, 5 Local Board Road, Watford WD17 2JP.
Doors will be open from 7pm and at 7.30pm the sampling will start. The brewer will then begin presenting their beers one-by-one with a short introduction to each, followed by a chance to chat to the brewer as you drink.
Your ticket includes 6 beer tastings as well as table snacks and nibbles, and food will also be available to purchase on the night.
A range of Vale Brewery beers will be available to buy throughout the evening, and we will also be running a raffle.
We look forward to seeing you there. If you would like any further information please email Jane at [email protected]
