Cassiobury Park, Watford - Heritage Walk in Sept

A guided walk with a local historian, focusing on the heritage of Cassiobury Park. The same route as June and July walks.
About this Event

If you are interested in the history of Cassiobury, come on a guided walk led by Laurie Elvin, archaeologist and local historian. Will be same route as June walk.

Cassiobury was the seat of the Earls of Essex from the 17th century until it was sold in 1922 and Cassiobury House demolished.

The walks last 1.5 - 2 hours, starting from outside the Hub (Cedar Café) on the upper paved patio (above the splash pools).

Booking is essential on Eventbrite. £3.00 per person (not refundable).

Please note, there will be stairs and hilly areas during the walk and recommend wearing clothing/ shoes suitable for outdoors and bring a bottle of water.
