Join us during the United Nations General Assembly in New York to stand with the people of Iran and demand an end to executions and state repression.
The scale of the execution crisis is alarming.
recorded at least 2,159 executions in Iran in 2025—more than double the number recorded in 2024 and the highest annual figure it has recorded for Iran since 1981. The United Nations also sounded the alarm during 2025, reporting that more than 1,000 people had already been executed in less than nine months and warning of an unprecedented surge in executions.
This rally also marks the anniversary of the Woman, Life, Freedom uprising—a movement that continues through the courage and resistance of women and youth across Iran.
