Raise the Roof: Gem State Turns One

A year ago, people who cared about housing in Idaho kept ending up on the same calls, working on the same problem separately. So they decided to work on it together, and Gem State Housing Alliance was born as Idaho's first statewide pro-housing coalition.

In our first year, we've:

• Welcomed more than 100 Founding Members of The Alliance
• Reviewed zoning codes in 28 Idaho cities to find what's standing in the way of new homes
• Launched our City Technical Assistance Program to support cities in building more home choices
• Connected city officials and pro-housing Idahoans in every region through our monthly Housing Network Calls
