Discover a New Way of Being
What if changing the way we experience the world begins with understanding ourselves?
This special four-session series explores how our bodies, minds, and nervous systems work together to shape our emotional well-being.
Drawing from Dr. Bo Forbes' Yoga for Emotional Balance, we will explore the science of yoga, the development of emotional and behavioral habits, and how restorative practices can help us create new patterns of awareness and response.
Through gentle, supported restorative yoga postures, conscious breathing, sound healing, and meditation, participants will experience how the body and mind can work together to cultivate greater peace, resilience, and emotional balance.
We'll explore the emotional, mental, and physical patterns that can contribute to depression and learn how internal awareness, compassion, and consistent practice can help us relate to ourselves and our lives differently.
What We'll Explore
The Body & Brain: Understanding how habits form and how the nervous system influences our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
The Science of Yoga: Exploring how breath, movement, stillness, and relaxation can support emotional well-being.
Restorative Yoga & Sound Healing: Experiencing deep rest and practices that encourage nervous system regulation.
Awareness & Compassion: Recognizing habitual patterns without judgment and cultivating a kinder relationship with ourselves.
Creating New Patterns: Discovering how small, consistent changes can support a new way of being in the world.
Why We Ask for a Four-Session Commitment
Consistency and the willingness to try something new are part of changing the way we experience the world.
Our familiar patterns develop over time, and creating new ones requires patience, awareness, and practice.
By committing to all four sessions, you are giving yourself an opportunity to experience something different, build new habits, and explore how these practices can become part of your everyday life.
Each session builds upon the previous one.
A Welcoming Space for Everyone
This is a gentle, supportive experience rooted in community, growth, understanding, and acceptance.
There is no judgment, no expectation to share personal experiences, and no previous yoga experience necessary.
Come as you are. Explore the possibility of living with greater awareness, compassion, peace, and happiness.
FREE | Space is limited | Registration for all four sessions required
This series is intended to complement, not replace, professional mental health care.
