Rain Barrel Workshop

Come join City of Oldsmar Environmental Management staff to learn more about rainwater harvesting using a rain barrel. Each registrant will receive a free rain barrel at the end of the workshop.

Why harvest rainwater? Rainwater that is harvested using a rain barrel can be used to water your lawn and garden. It can also be used for outdoor cleaning, such as car washing and window washing. This source of water can be used at any time, which is beneficial during times of drought when there are water restrictions in your area. Additionally, collecting rainwater reduces the amount of stormwater runoff that would otherwise bring pollutants into our waterways.

This workshop will be held on Saturday, September 26th, from 9am-11am. Join us at Shelter 1 at Bicentennial Park in Oldsmar, FL.

Please only sign up for ONE spot per household. Pre-registration is required. Only ONE rain barrel per registrant.
