Rain Barrel Workshop

Join us in the Senior Center Activity room for a hands-on Rain Barrel Workshop designed to help you conserve water, reduce runoff, and support a healthier local ecosystem. In this small-group session, participants will learn the basics of rainwater harvesting, including how rain barrels work, their environmental benefits, and best practices for installation and maintenance.

Each participant will receive step-by-step guidance in assembling and setting up a rain barrel, along with practical tips for incorporating it into your home or garden. This workshop is perfect for beginners and anyone interested in sustainable living. Each participant will go home with a rain barrel and a conversion kit!

Space is limited to 10 participants to ensure personalized instruction and a collaborative learning experience. Pre-registration is required. There is room for more than 10 participants to show up but they will not be able to receive a rain barrel and conversion kit.
