Join us for a down-to-earth workshop on offering hope and care when it feels like all is lost.
About this Event

We often care for people with the expectation that things will get better. But when they don’t or when positive outcomes are unlikely, we question our own efficacy and even the grace of God. If God is good then what?

Join us for our annual Spiritual Care Workshop where we will ask these questions and explore the role of spiritual care in hopeless situations.

Session One will begin with Laura Mullet-Koop (Registered Psychotherapist, Spiritual Care Practitioner, and Spiritual Director). Laura will share from her experience and education, a biblical and theological understanding of hopelessness to ground us for the practical application of care.

Session Two will be led by Jody Keeso (Registered Social Worker, IFS-I Approved Clinical Consultant, EMDR Approved Consultant, and Executive Director/Owner of the Play Clinic) will offer practical applications and approaches in how we care.
