With Halloween just around the corner, this edition of A Pint of History turns to famous last words: the witty remarks, fearful whispers, stubborn declarations and accidental poetry that people left behind at the very end.
Because it’s the season, you’ll get to try your hand at it too. Every guest is invited to compose an epitaph for themselves, whether heartfelt or cheeky, thoughtful or wicked. How do you want to be remembered? What would your last line be if the pen were yours?
Come for the history, stay for the conversation, and enjoy a night that captures the spirit of late October while keeping its sense of humour.
Admission is FREE. We’ll be accepting donations, with all proceeds going to the Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum’s Expansion Project, a worthwhile way to help preserve and share local history.
