About this Event

Please note that the Racial Justice Conversations are delivered in two parts and comprises two separate sessions. Attendance at both sessions is required; therefore, before registering, please ensure that you are available on both dates.
As part of the booking process, you will need to reserve a place on each session date.

Across the sessions, we will create space to deepen understanding and encourage meaningful change. Topics will include:

  • Unconscious bias – recognising the assumptions we all carry and how they shape our interactions
  • Microaggressions – understanding everyday behaviours that can cause harm, even unintentionally
  • White privilege – exploring how systems and structures can advantage some while disadvantaging others

In the following session, we will continue the journey by looking at:

  • Tokenism – moving beyond representation to genuine inclusion
  • Allyship – practical ways to stand alongside others in support, advocacy, and solidarity

Each conversation is rooted in a shared commitment to creating spaces where everyone feels seen, valued, and able to belong. Whether you are new to these topics or looking to deepen your understanding, you are warmly invited to take part.
