🌟 Garba Night 2024 – A Cultural Extravaganza! 🌟We are thrilled to invite you to Garba Night 2024, an evening dedicated to celebrating Indian culture and traditions, brought to you by your new Indian Students’ Association (ISA). This year, we are pulling out all the stops to create a magical experience, full of vibrant music, energetic dance, and unforgettable memories.
Garba is a traditional Indian dance form originating from the state of Gujarat, typically performed during the festival of Navratri. Danced in circles, Garba represents the cyclical nature of life, energy, and the goddess Durga. The night will also feature Dandiya Raas, where dancers use colorful sticks in a rhythmic exchange to lively beats.
✨ What to Expect:
🥁Traditional Music and Dance: Our live DJ will spin a mix of classic and contemporary Garba and Dandiya tracks, guaranteed to get you on your feet and in the groove.
💃🏻Guided Dance: Don’t worry if you’re new to Garba! There will be guided dance rounds where you can learn the steps and enjoy the experience with fellow attendees.
🪔Decor and Ambiance: Step into a beautifully decorated venue with stunning, colorful décor that captures the essence of an Indian festival.
🍧Food and Refreshments: A selection of delicious Indian snacks and refreshments will be available for FREE to keep your energy up throughout the night.
👗 Dress Code: We encourage you to come dressed in traditional Indian attire to fully embrace the spirit of the evening! Whether it’s a vibrant Chaniya Choli or a stylish Kurta, dressing up will add to the fun. If you don’t have traditional clothing, don’t worry—just come dressed comfortably and ready to dance!
