Watch a vibrant performance from visiting Christchurch Lion and Dragon Dance Team Qiao Yi (Hong De).Celebrating nearly thirty years as a troupe, you’ll see styles of Southern Chinese Lion Dance and Northern Dragon Dance including, Group Lion Dance, Lion Dance on Benches, Drunken Lion Dance, Dragon Dance, Drumming Music, and Northern Lion Dance.
They’ll be joined by the Otago Southland Chinese Association for a lively afternoon performance near the Pailou (archway) outside Lan Yuan.
Should the weather be adverse, this event will be held in the Josephine Foyer at Toitū.
