Did you know a man once pushed a wheelbarrow across the country…and stopped here?
With more than 250 years of history, Ellicott City has been shaped not only by industry and innovation, but by bold personalities, wild weather, strange events, and unforgettable moments.
Fascinating and full of unique charm, it’s a place where the unusual has always felt right at home. Join us for the premiere of Quirky Ellicott City, presented by Rissa Miller and written by Rissa Miller and Ed Lilley.
Hosted by the Museum of Howard County, History 8328 Court Ave. Ellicott City, Md. Recommended for guests age 12 and up. Reservations required, no walk-ups accepted.
