Come join us for 5 fun filled days of quilting & sewing with friends at The Gathering Place at beautiful Lake Guntersville State Park, 1155 Lodge Dr, Guntersville, AL.
Reserve your camp sites, rooms, chalet, or cabin directly through park reservations or call the Campground Store directly 256-571-5440 for available sites. When making reservations, advise them you are part of the quilt retreat. Lodging is not included in the quilt retreat. Most of our group will camp in Section E, F or G, which are close to the event room.
New to the Park - Now available are the new Glamping Tents recently built by Timberline Glamping. These tents are within walking distance of The Gathering Place. The owner, Ashly Whittaker, is offering our group a 10% discount for those who need an alternative to bringing their RV's. What is included:
20 tables available - First Come First Serve Basis - No Holds.
Cutting Stations, Ironing Stations & Design Boards available throughout the room.
$225.00 per person - 5 days of sewing at The Gathering Place, make & take classes, community project, games, shop hop, door prizes and a few surprises. And of course, our traditional BBQ & Bluegrass Band - Clear Blue Sky Bluegrass Band. Additional $20 for spouse or guest attending BBQ.

Note: Because our room is limited to 20 guests and fills up so quickly, when you post going on the guest list, you will receive a request for your email address to receive our registration form.
