Come join us for 5 fun filled days of quilting & sewing with friends at The Gathering Place at beautiful Lake Guntersville State Park in Guntersville, AL. Sewing Station set-up only will be available on Sunday, October 5th from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Reserve your camp sites, rooms, chalet, or cabin directly through reservations or call the Campground Store directly 256-571-5440 for available sites. When making reservations through the Campground Store, advise them you are part of the quilt retreat and would like to stay in Section E, F or G. Lodging is not included in the quilt retreat.
New to the Park - Now available are the new Glamping Tents recently built by Timberline Glamping. These tents are within walking distance of The Gathering Place. The owner, Ashly Whittaker, is offering our group a 10% discount for those who need an alternative to bringing their RV's. What is included:
20 tables available - First Come First Serve Basis - No Holds.
Cutting Stations, Ironing Stations & Design Boards available throughout the room.
$225.00 per person - 5 days of sewing at The Gathering Place, make & take classes - optional, group project, games, door prizes and a few surprises. And of course, our traditional BBQ & Band. Additional $20 for spouse or guest attending BBQ.
Note: Only the BBQ meal is provided as a part of the retreat; all other meals will be your responsibility. A list of recommended restaurants & grocery stores will be provided on our itinerary.

Note: Because our room is limited to 20 guests and fills up so quickly, when you post going on the guest list, send us your email address to receive your registration form.
