Join us at a designated quiet session on the first Saturday of the month to experience the Elmer and Friends exhibition at The Novium Museum with reduced sound and fewer visitors.Quiet sessions are open to anyone who would benefit from a quieter experience. This includes neurodivergent visitors, people with sensory sensitivities, people who experience anxiety or other mental health conditions, and people living with dementia.
During quiet sessions, we'll turn off non-essential background sound and limit the number of people in the gallery to create a low-sensory environment.
At the end of the sessions, the usual sound levels will return, but you're welcome to stay in the exhibition and the wider museum for as long as you like.
