Presented by Yamelisa Jimenez Taveras, MA, ICAADC, ICCS, CAMS-IV, CCTP-II, CEO and Director of Counseling Solutions LV, this interactive workshop explores how ADHD often presents differently in women and why so many go undiagnosed or misdiagnosed well into adulthood. Participants will examine the impact of masking, gender expectations, cultural barriers, trauma, and internalized shame on neurodivergent women, as well as the emotional, relational, and professional consequences of living without a name for their experience. Through education, reflection, and practical insight, this presentation aims to normalize neurodivergence, validate lived experiences, and offer pathways toward self-understanding, support, and healing.
Whether you're looking for answers, healing, or simply to feel less alone, you won't want to miss this important afternoon of networking and important dialogue on ADHD in women!
