QuickBooks Online Night Class — Ventura Adult and Career Education
About this Event
Learn bookkeeping on the software small businesses actually use.
The QuickBooks Online course at Ventura Adult and Career Education gives you hands-on training in accounting principles using cloud-based software. Every in-person lesson reinforces accounting and bookkeeping skills through hands-on assignments, with students working through in-class and independent activities at their own pace. The course wraps up with a final project demonstrating mastery, and all assignments are submitted to the instructor for grading and personalized feedback.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS
30 hours of in-class instruction
30 hours of independent homework
Total course length: 60 hours
Prerequisite: successful completion of Accounting 1 is required before enrolling in QuickBooks Online.
SCHEDULE
September 16 to December 9, 2026. Wednesdays, 6:00 to 9:00 pm, in Room 202. No class November 11.
COST
$135 — the $125 session fee plus the $10 annual registration fee, paid together right here.
The QuickBooks Online textbook is $177.79 and is not included. Students may purchase the textbook from other vendors — ISBN 987-1-64061-672-1.
WHAT YOU NEED
A computer with reliable internet access and a regular commitment to homework.
HOW TO REGISTER
Pay for the class here. That is the whole sign-up step — no trip to the office beforehand, and your seat is held the moment payment goes through.
Bring your confirmation to the first class meeting on September 16, where you will fill out your enrollment paperwork before the session starts. Please arrive about fifteen minutes early that first night.
